Originally a mural painted at the Southend City Jam 2024, Forbidden Fruit is a studio reimagining that brings the design of the wall onto canvas. This piece features a sci-fi-inspired female figure with carnivorous pitcher plants emerging from her helmet, accompanied by a magpie perched on a stretched vine. The background has been reimagined with deep, stormy blue clouds, adding a moody, atmospheric quality that intensifies the piece a little further.
Created entirely with spray paint in my Porto studio, this painting perfectly captures my work from the festival while standing on its own as a darker, more introspective work.
