Faunagraphic is a collective of two people Rocket01 and Fauna. Together they work on a variety of projects from graffiti art, exhibitions and shows, workshops and graphic design and are currently based in Sheffield, Yorkshire.

The creative Duo have recently opened up Faunagraphic Studio's in Sheffield, as a workspace for their own art projects and to deliver workshops in spray can art and graffiti to the surrounding community.

Commissioned projects including murals, live painting, festivals and graffiti art events are other examples where Faunagraphic collaborate.

  • MURAL PAINTING COURSES & WORKSHOPS


    Murals can be designed by Faunagraphic, then drawn onto the wall large scale for participants to fill in all the imagery, or Participants can plan the design themselves with tuition and guidance from Faunagraphic as a planning session before the mural workshop

    Mural painting workshops can help groups to understand the important of sharing ideas and working together to pull their designs together to create the finished image.

  • If the mural is already planned, It is still advisable to give 30 minutes to understanding a few basic spray painting techniques and then planning the development of the wall and sketching out the design onto the surface.

    Murals can involve using a mixture of materials, spray paint, paint pens, acrylics, emulsions, stencils, graphic transfers, and sometimes materials which can be glued onto the surface to create a touch friendly piece of artwork. Murals can be themed - Organic, dance, nature, animals, Murals dedicated to a city or holidays.

    Materials are included in a price estimate, Mural workshops are suitable for all ages
    For very young students, who find it difficult to press and hold the spray can, we have a spray paint pull handle attachment which helps them use the can easier.

    All safety equipment is provided, we also bring along extractor fans for indoor murals, ground sheets, dust covers, respirator masks and clothing protection    .

     

     

      STENCIL ART COURSES AND WORKSHOPS

    Stencil workshops are similar to the Graffiti workshops. Using spray paint and stencil cut outs to paint strong and immediate pieces of art. Faunagraphic can create stencils template of students and individuals prior to any workshops using photographs and pictures so they can get straight to learning and creating art with their pre-made ready cut stencils which the participants can keep. Designs can also be transfered onto clothing and spray paint doesn't have to be the only medium.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    GRAFFITI WORKSHOP

     

     

     

     Graffiti workshops are for any groups want to learn about using spray paint. It maybe that a group would like to learn more about graffiti art and letter styles or characters or perhaps use spray paint to create an eye catching mural on a wall or on boards, Faunagraphic have a large amount of graffiti books magazines and videos for education purposes, learning about the history of graffiti art is also a popular topic in graffiti workshops.. 

    A class usually begins with a basic sketch or drawing which is then used as an idea for which to start a larger piece in spray paint. Help is given to all students along the way both with drawing and painting. Later help with spray paint techniques can be given like fading, cutting back and use of different nozzles.Workshops can be a one off booking or an ongoing project over several weeks or months.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     


    PARTIES, SMALL GROUPS AND  INDIVIDUAL TUTORING



     

     

    • Private workshops can be held at Faunagraphic Studio's in Sheffield, bookings can be party groups, small groups from 2-4 participants, and also one-to-one tutoring for any of the above workshops. Materials will be included with quoted price.

    Every participant takes home artwork which has been created during the workshop.
